Future Analytics: AI & Audio Worlds… where Agencies shift.
What happens when students from Artificial Intelligence and Data Science work and research alongside students from Music, Sound and Cultural Studies? The new international Master’s programme Future Analytics: AI & Audio Worlds at the University of Hildesheim brings these disciplines together in a unique transdisciplinary programme. Explore how AI and auditory cultures influence, shape and challenge one another – from generative music and algorithmic recommendation systems to synthetic voices and digital audio worlds.
You will deepen your expertise in your own field while gaining insights and skills from complementary disciplines: musicians engage with programming and AI, while computer scientists explore music, sound and auditory cultures. Working across disciplinary boundaries, you will learn not only to develop technological and creative approaches, but also to analyse future challenges scientifically, reflect on them critically and help shape them responsibly.
A central element is a two-semester student research project, where you work in small interdisciplinary teams on your own research questions, future scenarios or prototype applications. Innovative formats such as peer learning, team teaching and academic mentoring support you throughout your studies.
